Our innovative neurofeedback application for autism has won international awards at the 50th Geneva Inventions Exhibition

Dr. Michael Yeung received two awards at the 50th Geneva Inventions Exhibition: a Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations and an International Special Merit Award for his project, “A Hybrid EEG-fNIRS Neurofeedback Application for Brain Training in Autistic Children.” This is a pioneering hybrid EEG-fNIRS system for multimodal neurofeedback training. It targets cognitive, emotional, and social functions in autism, using valid feedback stimuli, reward delivery, and progressive loading to maximise efficacy and engagement.

The International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva is the largest global exhibition devoted exclusively to inventions. All entries are evaluated by an international jury of 135 specialists. This year’s exhibition featured over 1,050 inventions from 38 countries and regions.
