EEG-fNIRS Neurofeedback Application has won the Gold Medal at Silicon Valley International Invention Festival 2025

Dr. Yeung’s award-winning project, titled “A Hybrid EEG-fNIRS Neurofeedback Application for Brain Training for Autistic Children,” focuses on developing a cutting-edge multimodal neurofeedback system. This system aims at improving cognitive, emotional, and social functions in autistic individuals. Dr. Yeung expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Our goal is to develop innovative tools that can make a real difference in the lives of autistic children while supporting the advancement of Hong Kong’s medical technology industry. I hope this project will pave the way for more accessible and effective neurorehabilitation solutions.”


Silicon Valley International Invention Festival, recognised as the largest innovation exposition in United States, provides global inventors a unique platform and opportunity to showcase their inventions and explore new avenues for marketing their ideas and products. This year, the event attracted 400 inventors from more than 25 countries and regions, with 250 projects underscoring its international appeal and significance.
